I personally don't see the problem with imbalance in militia but I do think there should be something like the 3v3 even that plup is running but server automated to remove human error and incentivized in some way. Maybe with a rotating ruleset so you aren't always getting mares as well.

I didn't read this whole thread but did anyone suggest possibly making the light crossbow a one handed weapon? I'm sure it would require some tweaking, but that might make archery a little more interesting or at least the light xbow.
