Buy from players is the easy way. There are mobs dropping seeds as well. Cant remember wich mobs dropping them.

Make boards of the logs and you have 500 oakboards. Normal logs used to weight more boards, (think its change here on uof) so when out lumberjacking you convert the logs to boards so you can carry more before banking. you get same amount of boards as you have logs and can craft with them. Dunno...

Not sure i understand this correctly. But you can make boards by dclick the axe and target logs and it will convert them to boards.
