Fishing Questions

Okay have allot of questions never really got answers I need from reading these forums.

1. At what level can I fish up Mib's , I don't care when i can get chest just want to know when i can get actual bottle. GM told me yesterday that around the level 80 skill I would start fishing them up. But most gm's here have no idea what there talking about so I took it with a grain of sand.
2. High Seas? Gm told me we had it but I don't see it. having Pirates chase you is not high seas. So if we do have it what parts are here. Fishing quest? where are they? I went to the High Seas fish docks and its just a death trap here with allot of Silver serpents.
3. Why cant i fish and move at the same time here. Gm told me you cant and I just cant believe this. I say slow forward 2 click on my pole and it always says I need to be closer to water!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in a god damned boat how friggen close do I need to be?
4. Treasure maps, can i fish them up? What level?
5 Serpents at what level do they show up?

1 - 80 i believe you start fishing up Sea Serps, so yeah maybe chests
2 - Not sure exactly what was in high seas because i quit long before that but we do have all the boat stuff and ship battles and such
3 - Not sure even on ever being able to move and fish. if you mean have your boat move then I doubt that too because you click the tile to fish, the further you move, you wont be able to pick up what you fish
4 - you dont fish up maps you fish up bottles which are the maps i believe and then 98 maybe to fish up the chests and 100 to fish in the whirlpools
5 - about 80

not 100% on any of this just made my fisher and still not GM but im sure someone here will post some good info cause there is alot of serious fishers....free bump

3. Why cant i fish and move at the same time here.
The problem is with UO not in sync with your map location, make a hotkey in razor to resync with the server, its in misc

high seas here is pretty much just the new ships and cannons+ransom

80, you can start to fish up Serps, but you will have a very low chance to get a MIB from them, you will most likely get Lvl1 Tmaps from them.

Not sure about High Seas, I think just the ship movement and cannons/repairing your ship. There is a quest giver near Brit Bank, which you pay 25k to and he will randomly tell everyone who paid the 25k where the whirlpools are at in the ocean.

I've only seen UO operate like this, so to me this is working fine. Always had to stop to fish.

I believe 80, you will start to pull serps that have them on them.

Again, 80. But honestly fishing is so easy to Macro to 100, who cares? Just get to 100 and then go out.

How so I cannot seem to get much done If I do it in town I have to move every 5 or so min
and It doesn't really work on a boat unless I am missing something on account of the you need to be closer to the water message. On osi shard I can fish while the boat is moving that does not work here from what I understand? If I'm missing info please fill me in and before you say search for the info how do you think I got here for those that would say it.
It will work for a few min then I get the closer to the water message

In town it takes like 3 days. Get on the edge of a dock and fish in the 3 directions of you to max gains.

You are right of course I am gaining even though there are many times that I get the no fish message. Thank you and I am now closing in a 90 Fishing. Now Can you or anyone tell me how to macro fishing on a boat to fish up deep sea serpents? Of course keeping in mind this will not be afk fishing. I prefer watching tv or chatting with guild members while fishing for mibs.
I just cannot get it to work. It works for a few min then I have to retarget its getting annoying.

What I use to pull MIB's is macro

dblclick fishing pole
wait for target
absolute target (make sure you retarget everytime you recall onto your boat again)
say: forward one
resync server
loop

Put your fisher in combat and open corpses up, keep any eye out because sometimes the corpse wont open in the creature runs prior to dieing.
Then let it roll.

Fishing AFK is legal BTW.

It's because of smooth sailing. When you sail southwest or northeast, the ships "teleport" like they've always done. Otherwise, the ship has smooth sailing, which ultimately means your client (and 3PPs) don't recognize you've moved from the location and fails to reset the relative location. You need to go into Hotkeys (assuming you use Razor) and create a "Resynchronize Client" hotkey. Then when you're making your fishing macro, record using the resynch key at the start so it will refresh your actual location before testing for relative location in the water.

Also, get licensed.

change "absolute target" to "target relative location"... Genius!!

Are the extra ships such as galleons still in, or were they removed? I only see standard ships on the vendors, but I really havent checked that many vendors.

check the gold sink vendor. 250k for the new ones
