Lag?

Anyone else been getting crazy ass lag for the past few weeks?
Past 3 weeks to a month sometimes I run flawlessly sometimes it's unplayable, thus why I have not played much at all past month.

Before you say its my end it is most def not, it is a hop between me and the server i assume.

Tonight was the first night I have really gone looking for a fight (player or monster) in a couple weeks and the lag seems to be worse than usual. I was actually worried about taking on a daemon paragon, PvP seems like it would be bad for my banbox tonight.

I have sporadic lag tonight too. I am in CA instead of TX so my route is different to the shard.

Hey guys, please post your in game -ping and also your command prompt ping and tracert.
We were just saying that we haven't had any issues lately with this server and it's been pretty good so i'm shocked to see this. Let's get some screens/pastes of the ping issues so we can narrow this down for everyone!

+1 ping is the same ~325ms but it feels really terrible and rubberish most of the time. its like i would run stop run stop jump 2 tiles etc.
it wents unplayable when i try to start casting spells in a fight.
and ya its like im back from vacation so over 4 weeks now.

@Shane - Here ya go:

With a disconnect while I was posting this.

Here is from the command line:

The timeout correlates to the disconnect.

Last night at the duel pits I lost connection multiple times.

One of the CTFs I played was so laggy that I was perma froze through most of the match.

You should cross reference it with pings to an outside source other than UO:F's server. From your screenshot you could of just been running a torrent of chinese porn while you were preforming your pings.

[e sigh

What kind of world do we live in if we can't download Chinese porn while owning noobs in a 17 year old wizard game....

Halygon, you also said in the other thread that you are away on business in California at the moment. I assume you are staying at hotels, hotel internet is probably not the proper place to be testing/complaining about server lag. It's on your side, not the servers.
You may be right, however in a tracert (trace route), the issue appears to occur when it hits a Dallas DNS server.

I also tried a couple other shards and didn't have the same issue. I did do a ping to google for my own comparison to validate my connection and had no issues. I can post that when I get back tonight.

By all means my results are not the end all be all so others will need to post their data to collaborate.
