Butler suggestions

Let's be constructive...

First, I love this new item. Hats off to devs for thinking outside the box and not coming up with yet another wearable.

A few suggestions to make the butler even better:

- can we add arrows? lots of pvmers are archers, it would be very useful
- is it possible to set a global number for regs? like, you enter "60" and then it expands on all of the regs so you get 60 of each. Same for pots maybe
- better yet, is it possible to add profiles? my needs are different for each char and also it depends what I want to do, obviously a champ will burn more regs so I'll have to stock more than for PvP. It would be badass to just select a profile that would fill my bag for a specific type of char or activity
- adding instruments would be nice too for bards

Nothing groundbreaking here just a few things that would make it even greater than it already is!

yea ill have to move a vendor to outside of a dungeon for these. since i can play again with the new server move =)

My suggestion would be to allow it to top off. Check the current amount of stock you have inside your bag and add however many to that count to meet the requested amount. So if you have it set to restock 20 gheals and currently have 8 inside your bag already it will add 12 gheals to your bag when restocking. Maybe a "complete" check box as UOSteam has in it's organizer agent.

It might be hard to do, but my other suggestion would be the ability to stock the butler with individual pots. This way you could target lootbags that you have looted from people and instantly add all that stock to the butler. To not kill the keg market you could require for every 100 potions added in this way 1 empty keg needs to be stored inside the butler. So say you could stock the butler with 50 empty kegs and that would mean 5000 individual potions would be able to be added. After a keg is filled in this way the empty keg is deleted from the butlers storage.

Just a few ideas that I don't think in any way would be unbalanced or anything, but greatly add to the convenience that the butler brings.

The vendor will top you off based on your restock preference starting tomorrow. I like this thread though guys. It is quite apparent how spoiled you all are (I mean this in a good way). What other would you even have the possibility of having customizable profiles for a restock vendor (much like our template system which I'm pretty sure no other shard even has something close to). Pretty amusing because things like this are just taken for granted here.

I mean this in a good way, sorry if it comes off as offensive or anything.

I think we all appreciate the hard work you guys put into stuff like this. I'm willing to bet the main reason a lot of players come here is because of the constant updates and change that the staff bring. When you have a shard that is getting updated it seems like every month and constantly has future plans and goals set it keeps from getting stagnant and shows that you are willing to listen to the playerbase and keep people interested. I'm sure others have came from shards that have left them somewhat disappointed in these areas.

@Adam would it be possible if we stock the vendor with a leather dye tub, we can color our armor when we restock with the buttler?

At the moment, if you dye leather and put it into the buttler, it comes out undyed.

Agreed, we take these things for granted sometimes.
But I'm Trin and now that Babethoven spilled the beans, it's no longer a secret that you're on our payroll and we benefit from staff favoritism.
So get back to work on these custom profiles and let me know how it goes. I'm leaving tomorrow so let's have this done for tonight.
You're clear to reboot the server as much as you want, btw.
