I for one can't wait to see what garbage excuse bobby has for cheating. I most definitely look forward to sitting in a chair, eating popcorn and watching the community tare him a new one.

lol you guys can get so ridiculous.

**Clears throat

I watch certain posts and thread's daily. If i see the same people really getting out of hand consistently i look at their post history.
If they are basically just posting nonsense all over the community here for weeks on end then i ban them immediately, permanently, firewall, and they are never getting back.

However,
If they are posting banter while being an active player and using these forums for selling, buying, helping the odd newbie, answering certain thread questions or are in some positive way attempting to be a working part of this community instead of a complete douche bag /negative DRAIN on everyone here, then i really let them be.

Bobby is one person that i've looked into, and he really buys, sells, helps, and while he may banter he never crosses crazy lines (That i've seen) and is doing some positive things at the least. Deadpool is another i looked at about 3 weeks ago, he is overall trollish but yet gives mature feedback where it is due and also participates in other parts of the community in what i felt was a pretty valued manor.
Basically you can tell these two value playing here, and value this community, regardless of what they may troll, say or banter about.

If anyone thinks we just randomly ban certain people, they are seriously mistaken.
Almost ALL permanent forum and in game bans go and are done through me alone. I REALLY hate banning people, really i do.
My job is to get people here for all of you to play with and to keep all your nostalgias raging, so banning those people becomes seriously counter productive to my end goals.
However,
I also realize there are lines, and limits. Ultima Online Forever isn't about numbers, and my own actions in previous years and our history here have proven that no one is immune to banning, a firewall, or removal from the game and community.
In the almost 3 years leading UOF now one of the largest banning's ive done is 30+ people at one time while we were already in a "hardship" of player numbers. This was done due to certain actions in which could of really affected the UOF economy in the long run if it wasn't caught at the moment, and also these players were given a second chance back at that point as well.
So..
It doesn't matter if you play for 16 hours a day-300 days a year, run a guild of 200 players, or donate 20,000 dollars in a month- OR ALL of the above.... You are all still treated with the same status as everyone else that plays here. Every single guild leader, large donator and player that has personally talked to me can back me up on that statement as well and it is honestly something i am really proud of and hold strong.

I've been offered crazy amounts of money for different (custom) things over the years, and i've never ever crossed a line and have been more than dedicated to keep it like that.

Why i bring all this up, is because those who play for 16 hours a day, or run a guild of 200 players or donate LARGE sums of money never ever near the "account banning" stage and in fact, are in SOME WAY attempting to help the server grow or succeed.
Why?... Because they are invested either with time or financially.
Which instantly tells me and everyone else here that they really like and enjoy Ultima Online Forever..

Every permanent ban i do make has some serious merit and reasoning behind it before it is done and finalized. Also being banned on forums does not ban you from mirc, or in game.. Being banned in mirc does not ban you from forums or in game... Being banned in game can for sure lead to banning of forum acct and mirc acct however.

All in all you have to be a pretty huge asshole, who blatantly shows disrespect for not only the community, but also the staff, the server and everything in between to get banned from the forums.

There is so bloody much more that goes into decisions being made on a daily basis that most anyone probably would ever realize, but i hope this explains on how i've personally been handling some recent bannings.

In all, i want nothing more than to keep everyone of you here, and i think you're all great people. However, the minute you cross a line and fuck with our image, or interfere with our goals as not only a team but an entire community... Then that is when you will be told to go fuck yourself in the nicest way possible.

Hope this clears things up!

I think theres a difference between making posts with pics talking about PVP that happened in game and wins/losses on the battlefield and posting the same copy and pasted spam message 8-10x a day.

Shit talk over PVP is bound to happen and probably a healthy indicator the server has a competitive PVP scene... copy and pasting the same spam posts over and over again does not add to this at all(as the forums have shown when they voted 90-15 to have bobby banned from posting).
