I am relatively new to the server (4 months) and have made a tamer/archer as my main. I don't have any meta pets yet, but I would like to one day. My question is: what is the most lucrative farming for someone in my position?

A tamer/archer doesnt really work here. At least, not for pvm or farming. Pick a less hybridy build...a pure tamer, archer/mage, provo/archer are all easy. Any provoker, or even pure dexxer... The talismans are your best bet if you don't have a meta pet, get one of the 3 and focus on that.
As for making money, it is slow going as they want people to donate for money instead of farm for it. You can try rda and champs and end game stuff, which is good money, but you will need an active guild. Skill scrolls are really nice if you can sell.

As for making money early on, you can just be a miner or lumberjack and get rich with no risk.

I can run shame dungeon with a elemental ban wep and pull 12k every 15minutes just gotta watch out for the pk dickbags. Set up a recall macro and run spell reflect. Easy cheesy port out. After I see one or two there I switch to killing Titans with a repond on booty island or ocello.

Tamer archer does not work here sadly.

You either want:

a. provo archer
or
b. provo tamer

there is no room in a pvm tamer build for archery, tactics, and anatomy

Pure tamers are the kings of gold farming, but it also requires a heavy investment (I'm talking millions of gold).

A good balance between farm/investment is easily a bard (or a bard mix). Music + Provo and you can farm almost anything in the game, all at the cost of a 500 exceptional instrument. And with Music+Provo you still have 500 to play with. :)

Hi, as a tamer which skills do you suggest?

the above 4 are core skill + music +peace +hiding is it ok? or provo better then peace?
please give suggestions cheers!

If you going tamer route i would go with provo tamer with a WW and Deathbeetle i think is the most optimal combo, either that or dragon + mare, until you get the whole meta pet thing going.

100 vet
100 magery
100 med
100 provo
100 music

Can swap out provo and music for resist and wrestling to be more durable in PVP situations but that will make it less optimal for money making.

Once you have a full lvl 7 meta you can do the same money as a provo tamer even with a "pvp tamer" template (resist/eval/wrestle)

But with "normal" pets you need provo/music to make good money.

I don't even have vet on my tamer lol

Peace is worthless. Hiding on a tamer is worthless

If you have "normal" pets:

taming
lore
vet
magery
meditation
music
provo


When you have a lvl 6 or 7 meta with quicksilver you can drop music/provo for wrestling/resist and increase your chances to survive

Don't you need vet to make it somewhat bearable or are lvl 7 meta that crazy?

Never had vet, lvl 7 metas definitely are that crazy and i also have a maxed meta steed to boost. Greater heals are more than enough and i never even get below 50% mana.

Of course i cannot solo paragon ancient wyrms without recalling away to med once or twice, but you don't need to kill those to make good money.

I can farm around 100k/hour (plus skill scrolls, paragon chests, maps etc) with my resist/wrestle/eval template and it's very very hard to die to pks unless you get ganked

Try find a few players and get through a champ spawn - the loot dropped there can be very rewarding.

Also keep an eye out for power scrolls - the 105s / 110s / 115s and 120s they are really profitable and some of the normal skill scrolls are also very profitable. For example taming skill scrolls can go for up to 250k!

On top of this keep farming those dungeons... myself and a friend can earn around 100k every 1 - 2 hours in Khaldun.

Can I ask why a tamer / archer? If you want a farming archer character you are better off with a provo archer.

Tamers here, especially since you have said you would like a meta pet need the 120 lore and 120 taming for top end meta's. You would most likely have to drop your archery anyway plus you will not be getting the most out of Archery with less dex than you would have on a provo / archer.
