When initially worn, it appears to be a robe:
When double-clicked on the paper-doll, it turns into a shroud:
While in shroud mode, your name is changed to "a shrouded figure." EVERYONE can see this name - not just you! It remains this way unless certain things happen, such as double-clicking the shroud again to return it to robe mode, attacking a friendly player, or unequipping it. The name can be returned at any time regardless of the circumstance by simply changing it from robe to shroud.
