Ok so lets say the simple suggestion first. UO has some amazing music on its directory , why on UOF this music are not used ? Maybe a simple attention to regions and musics would make the server more immersive then it is.
Second sugestion, is something i had when i played back then on the server i have played. Players could cast spells with wooden staffs on theyr hands. Staffs had less 'dodge' then wrestling, however they could do some damage to attackers, so it was an offensive way of mages rather then the common wrestling mage. Also, a mage casting with a staff in hand looks so damn cool.
