So while I was pissing and moaning like a child about the butler, and it's cost and what not, and the lack of lower priced dono items and all the things that are wrong in the world, @Shane pointed out that it would be more helpful if I made suggestions rather than crying like a 2 year old (my words, not his).
The only thing that came to mind was the idea of a special hued runebook. These could be 2-4k dono each and non equippable of course. I'd think they would have use to people who run a library. The cost should remain low because of the amount of books that could be needed / purchased to make their libraries special.
