Sabotage? You posted ownership.. and lied about protection. We're to sit back and watch you charge folks 50k a week to sail? I guess we figured you were joking at first..

As the year comes to a close and the holidays are in full swing, the Vesper Commerce Commission would like to thank its loyal licensees for their continued support of the Commission's protection of its naval assets. The company is always happy to see its friendly registered vessels out at sea, profiting a great deal!

Ever vigilant in its duties to the Vesper Commerce Commission, however, the privateers demand payment in blood for any who would defy its ownership of the seas by avoiding their licensing dues, no matter the odds!

In Lost Hope Bay, Sal the Fisher moved to engage the Otter and was destroyed.

In return, a ransom of 25,000 gold was paid to the Commission. This would prove unfortunate for Captain Merrman, whose ship the SS Bluebottle was destroyed by Sal an hour later. Captain Brandon Van Raily and Master Gunner Cheeto Mainsail moved to intercept the pirate and recover any lost property, resulting in great success.

Illegal whalers and two-bit pirates alike will face the gallows when the Commission comes upon them!

Island patrols are no less successful, with rogue suppression and supposed "treasure hunters" (more like weapons smugglers) being put to the sword and Corp Por by the brave hunters. The Commission started in Nujel'm to share some Christmas cheer!

Finally, a blockade ship of the Vesper Commerce Commission was attacked by a previously unknown opponent. Mister Killik took one of the ships and maneuvered in a way to keep the enemy occupied, sacrificing the ship to stall their target.

A dignified opponent, the Commission was honored to have engaged and defeated them.

The Vesper Commerce Commission hopes everyone has had a safe, legally licensed at sea holidays and we look forward to serving and protecting the great men and women who rightfully register their ships in the coming year. To the rest of you,

    MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS!

But I can't find any VCC ships. Day after day I cruise around the sea and there are no VCC vessels. I only want a screenshot of me getting sunk in this thread. :D :D :D

What time and zone you are sailing?

    I love these threads.
    TTC. EQMS...et al.
Asking for, basically, 'payment for protection'
Extortion, digital style, if you will.
While I applaud the efforts of such crews, and pity the morons that buy into it, solely, for protection, (you deserve to lose your gold. pussies)
good LUCK getting gold, or ANY thing of value, from me.
Youve tried a few times and all you got was the pleasure of sinking a booty-less dinghy.

    Go scratch.

    Same with you EQMS clowns....

Y'all can go burp your worms, too.

So many fishermen, whalers, wreckers and recovery specialists are getting their ships lawfully registered with the Vesper Commerce Commission! We are eagerly awaiting to hear of all the treasures and prizes they pull from the depths of the privately operated oceans!

At this rate, increased licensing costs is an inevitability, so don't delay any further -

LOL @ people actually paying for this so called protection. I am out every day fishing up MIBs and have yet to see VCC manning a ship. All I see are empty ships blocking in empty ships trying to get people to register. Save your gold folks and just fish.

The dedicated privateers enforcing licensure for the Vesper Commerce Commission have been hard at work stopping illegal whaling, wrecking and recovery operations.

Meanwhile, the public has sought out summoning dark energies in the sea, potentially threatening licensees and other Commission interests. Privateers deploy to pacify this dangerous practice.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

From the relative safety of the docks, the opposition catapulted battalions of energy vortexes onto the Otter. Eventually, even the uncompromising constitution of its crew were no match, and seeing them flee and suffer grievous injury, some mages would press the attack into the ocean.

    A grievous error in judgment.

In other news, the Commission continues its land expeditions against coastal targets of opportunity to great success.
