Dexxer Relics, how do we get them?

So I'm pretty good on my understanding of how it works at the Arch Deamon.

Spawns every 4 or 5 hours
Has a 20% chance to drop a relic in someone's backpack - at random, as long as they did at least 1 damage and they are alive and on screen when he dies.

At least that's what I was told by several. Is that correct?

Now the real question is how else can we get Relics? I know I can buy them off someone but I already know that smarty pants :)

What about champ spawns? RDA's? If they don't drop Relics, what are people doing them for? Sorry for my ignorance here...

Any tips? Tricks?

Champs and RDAs both have a chance to drop a relic if you do 1hp damage to the boss. Turning in dungeon crystals from Destard and Hythloth gets you in the lottary when the dungeon boss is killed. You don't even have to fight the boss for those, just turn in the crystals and if you get one it will be in your bank box. There is a boss named Akor that spawns on a longer timer that drops Relics and meta dragon eggs. Another boss called the Warlock will give relics as well.

Crystals? Lottery? Can you give me a little more info on that, please?

The wiki is quite limited in this regards.

Monsters in hyloth & destard drop crystals that you can turn in for a chance of getting a relic in your bank when the dungeon bosses are killed. Hyloths altar to turn in crystals is lvl 1 I believe? Destards is way north of the champ altar by the ahnk.

Any monsters in those 2 dungeons give crystals? Or only on the tough stuff?

Does anyone know of adding more crystals to the alters increases chance? I know if you put all 50 in you get what 20% chance like arch daemon?

Yes it is like a raffle but whether or not a prize is even given is only like 20%. If a relic is given out your odds are higher if you have a good majority of the 50 crystals. If you have all 50 it is yours if it gives out a relic. Really hard to get all 50 though since they decay in 24 hours. You have to farm them like crazy and hope the boss is summoned and killed before your crystals start decaying. For destard there is also a 4 hour cooldown after the boss dies that you can't put any crystals in. Hythloth has no cooldown, so once the boss dies you can start turning in more.

Can you take crystals from one dungeon and turn them in to the other?

There isn't a cooldown now at least. Only time you can't put in crystals is when the boss is actually alive in the dungeon somewhere.
