2 hand weapons and purple potions

This is such a great release but only if it were actually balanced.... Lets be honest this shit needs fixed....... hally hit, purple potion, hally hit, purple potion, conc blow....? For what reason did you make this available to play? Why bother playing on the pvp field at all...? Halbred hits are bigger than bow hits so why take bows out of the scene of purple potions when a hally conc blowing dexxer is 1 and a half times stronger lol just makes no complete sense. I would love to just suggest balancing the damage! Why be a jerk about it? 1. changes never are made by one suggestion, it is usually based of a group, whose not to say one small group can ruin it for everyone. Why make all these changes without balances, there's a test shard for a reason. It has been over a year now... balnce the weapon damages. Then leave it.

PS never ever have I seen this kind of bullshit. 3 hit death by halbred with 32 ar. armor doesn't even exist basically. Make it worth my time resources and template. Shit always being tinkered with, the most famous question asked by all players would probably be, when are there going to be permanent balanced changes?

Against a haly dexxor, just reduce their stam and they are toast as it makes their swing go from 6sec to like 12sec....

...regardless of that, I think your real issue is with armor -- NOT weapon damage. There is an armor fix coming soon that is being worked out on the test server. Right now armor is fairly worthless -- so it really doesn't matter if you have 32 ar or 62 ar -- you will probably still be hit for about the same. Be patient for the armor changes that @Adam is working on should address your concerns regarding damage received.

Trust me I know how painful a haly can be as I 1v1 someone last night who had a vanq haly in hand... and i had 61ar! Just be patient.

So you're saying wear platemail armor all invaun on a mage? because even if i had that the halbred eats through the armor as if it isnt there, the damage is the problem also you dont just die to 3 hits of a halbred, thats not even fun, I think I could tell a difference by testing it on my own. no one should have to wait, the simple thing is to not implement something that defeats a total purpose of changes. you dont implement something stronger into the game when the goal is to tone down and balance.

I feel your pain, but armor reduces damage, which means that a halberd will not do as much damage per swing depending on what armor you are wearing.

Obviously if you are a mage, you will be wearing only leather, but even leather can become more effect with the new damage reduction calculation. Keep in mind though, when you play a mage, you are playing a character will low defense plain and simple. You do realize that you can kill a dexxor with three spells - four at the tops?

As far as changes go, have you ever implemented a project? That's what this is. Not all changes can or should be rolled out at once. It is easier to test the individual items if you roll out changes in waves. The armor and other changes are just in a second wave.

Wear full invul/for leather. You'll have 45+ armour. This will reduce weapon damage significantly from GM bared leather.

If you're fielding in sub-par gear (and yes, barbed leather is sub-par), you should not expect to survive against fully equipped opponents. Vanq hallys may hit hard, but they hit slow as hell and sometimes that dice roll comes out to 13 damage instead of 40. Not to mention if they miss more than twice in a row they're probably dead/running.

I assume you had one bad experience with this particular situation because you're pretty specific. For every time it happens to you I'm sure you get a 3-4 hit kill on someone else and don't even think twice about it. That's just how this game is. You're never as good as you think and you're never as bad as you think.

you cant kill a dexxer with resist with 3 or 4 spells lol NEVER takes at least 5 to 6

I would say you are both right its more like 3-6 spells. depending on how many they resist, if they are using str pots, and how much damage MB does to them.

I have gotten a kill with 3 spells and taken 6 to get a kill before.

Yeah drain stamina. Also one big thing between hally and bow is. Hallys u have to be in the tile next to them. Bows have better range than spells. If your an archer and die to a dexxer there is issues lol.
