Totem of the Berserker question with archery...

Ok so looking at the wiki it says:

Arms Lore
Arms Lore has the same effect Minimum Hit Chance increease for the Totem of the Berserker as it does for a Phylactery of Resilience Talisman. Further details are provided in the Phylactery of Resilience section.

So I go up to the resilience section and it says:

Arms Lore
The wielder of an active Phylactery of Resilience or Totem of the Berserker with 100 Arms Lore and 100 Weapon Skill receives an increased Minimum Hit Chance. You will only get this increase if you are wielding a weapon relevant to your chosen Weapon Skill. For example, against a creature with 100 wrestling, a normal warrior with 100 Swordsmanship wielding a katana has a 50% chance to hit the creature. With the talisman and 100 Arms Lore, this increases to ~63%. Note, however, that this does not raise your Hit Chance by a flat amount it just raises it to ~63% if you are currently below that. If you intend to kill only lowly ogres and ettins, you can probably skip Arms Lore. If however you want to take on bigger monsters such as with 100 or greater wrestling, such as dungeon bosses, then consider fitting this into your template.

So my understanding is arms lore does not give a bonus or have any effect with archery correct? So what does this mean for the talisman and archery? I'm just confused if I should pick up arms lore in my Archer or did archers get the shaft (see what I did there?) Again?

Thanks tankian can anyone else chime in to confirm or a moderator?

I really hate to tweak these skills on my Archer to learn arms lore for nothing.

It works the exact same with archery as other skills.

The reason people don't like it with archery is because weapons with tactics modifiers give you more archery skill instead of tactics. Because of this you can actually have 125 archery depending on the weapon you are using which creates less scenarios where the asthma lore bonus takes effect.

it should work with archery, however keep in mind you need to stay close to the mob or there is a penalty for xp gains.....

Levelling
You gain experience with this talisman by doing damage to creatures. The amount you gain is penalized by wearing too little armor. To ensure maximum experience gains, keep your armor at or above 80. The amount of experience gained is also affected by distance from the creature. The penalty is 20% for each tile beyond 1.5. Stay close, be well armored and crush those evil creatures!

GM Armslore+talisman=HC bonus. The wiki description was written when there was only 3 talismans that existed.

Arms Lore works with all physical talismans. I dropped LJ for it and to chug pots--never turning back, highly recommend.

First off thank you to everyone that has helped me figure this out.

Secondly can someone help just a little further?

So I have a beserker. And I am working arms lore to 100.

I have archery and anatomy at 100.

My question with the above stated what if any bonus happen if I equiped a supremely accurate bow? I know this would give me 125 archery (not tactics) would there still be a benefit from arms lore?

Sorry if these are newbie questions I'm just having a tough time with understanding the mechanics.

To put it as simple as possible: you cannot gain a bonus from both weapon accuracy and arms lore. The better hit chance of the two calculations is what will be used in any situation.

Therefore an accuracy bonus will either get you a higher hit chance than arms lore rendering arms lore useless or it will not and the arms lore hit chance will be used rendering the accuracy useless.
*all hit chance calculations are based on the mobs wrestling.

Thank you so lastly in the way you described it supremely accurate would be better than leveling arms lore correct (for Archery?)
