Talisman Diversity

Currently you can get 4 relic for each meta talisman. Unfortunately this means almost every meta is the same when finished. I propose a 5th relic option for each tali. Keep the 4 relics max but having a 5th to choose from.

Please post replies with your 5th relic suggestions.

Magi
Spellbook stun: arming a spellbook and wrestling your monster can proc a 1second stun going up to 10 when maxed. 40 sec cool down

Berserk
Weapon chain: allows zerk to hit mob 2 tiles away and only procs on one handed weapons. 30 to 40 sec cool down depending on lvl.

Resilient
Shield bash: a resilient with parry and a sheild armed will knock a mob backwads and do dmg bases on lvl. 40 sec cool down.

Rogue
From the shadows: a hidden attack that requires stealth. The monster you're attacking must be facing away from you so youre backstabbing.

I also suggest the gold relic be removed entirely. It'd be much easier than policing the afk Xp farms.

Please post your thoughts and ideas. Even if you have reasons to be against a 5th relic choice. I'd like to hear it.

mage: mage armor-elude, but for mages.
berserk: culling the weak-executes a monster once it reaches 5% hp instantly
resilient: mirror shield-chance to reflect spell as per the reflect spell back at the caster while holding a shield.
rogue: hide in plain sight-can hide even if standing next to your attacker.

mage: blink- chance when taking damage to teleport X number of tiles away
berserk: rage-deal and receive an extra 20% damage
resilient: Divine blessing-permanent bless
rogue: Escape-Teleports X tiles away and hides.

just a few off the top of my head.

talisman are already OP, a single char with talisman make same damage of 10 old chars thats why we have 10 minute champs

Magi: Armageddon - when it procs, everything and everybody on the shard all dies at once except the mage casting.

Beserk: Power of Odin - weapon becomes infused with lightning and starts chain lightning everything which then spreads through the entire shard and kills everybody and everything. Except for goats. They are immune.

Defense: Shield Wall - you become literally immune to damage for a period of time except for above 2 powers. If you polymorph into a goat then you have a chance to take 50% damage instead of death.

Rogue: Ethereal Mode - you can literally walk thru walls, and doors and loot secure containers. You're immune to damage, except for the Mage and Beserk powers - which blow you into pieces and cause an aoe affect which additionally hurts people around you (incase there are polymorphed goats, then they die.)

But still not as powerful as a tamers dragon. In a balanced game any build will be equally strong. Why can a tamer pet tank but I can't tank with my characterc with armor/shields?

MetaPets are strong, but IMo not as friedly to play as a talisman, also IMO is more powerful a talisman. BTW i will add a malus in champ area for talismans and metapets too.

Champs are end game ENTRY LEVEL, where new ppl start to being involved in endgame, meet, have a % for loot (back in the days).

We can unleash our pets and talisman against BOSS, that need to be as arch and akor now, superstrong real endgame

What else is beyond champs? Lich khan and arch demon? Im not aware of anything past thatt

Yes i understand, but we need less power anyway while in champ area, making a champ with 10 ppl now is like to make champ with 200 back in the days

Your issues StegcO don't really apply to the OP... Talisman diversity would be great, I'd love to be able to choose a couple of different options, as a meta mage who doesn't do a lot of champs, Dispersion is kind of a silly relic for me - would love to have a different option to re-coup some more mana, or increase mana regen rates.. Like a healer relic option - that on a heal, gave you double mana regen for 20 seconds, when it triggered, you'd drop into meditation.

Huh? Defense tali can sit in front of some NASTY paragons and take nowhere near the amount of damage a meta dragon would. Meta pets do nice, steady damage and they have terrible AI. My zerker handles MOTM farming much better than my tamer ever will (til we get to balrons). There is an aggressive style to Treading everything in sight, Phase Shifting to new mobs before others can get there, etc. that tamers simply can't compete with.
