Lethal Poison

Let's bring lethal poison to the game. I was told we don't have it as it's considered OP, TBH I can't see how it could possibly be more OP than a tamer with 2 dragons, or a disarm thief or a pot tossing dexxer. When you can run a script to allow an auto chug I believe it takes the OP of poison out of the game.

I don't think lethal poison can be cured by pots. Deadly poison is like an 80% cure rate with gcure pot. If players could reliably cast poison that wasn't pot-curable, it would change pvp to more resemble 5x dueling. Poison and keep em from curing. I don't care about what is and isn't OP, just saying that it would be a pretty significant change.

Back when I played the OSI shard it was curable sometimes it took several cure pots but with chugging being a script I can't see a problem with that.

We have that here, its called deadly poison.

Also stop it with the script talk, it sound like you hardly have a clue what you are talking about.

And as far as what you have here, when a player has GM weapon skill or magery skill and GM poison there is a chance that a poison strike will be lethal.

I could see it as a castable poison at GM Magery/Poisoning with a 25-30% chance. We would have to balance it out by allowing gcure pots to cure it at a lower percentage (maybe like 40%) too.

Could make a nox mage more viable, but other then that, I am not sure how it would make anything improved. Maybe I missed that point?

Lethal poison can't be cured with potions, and having players able to inflict lethal poison in pvp would turn the whole meta upside down for the worse. For starters people without magery couldn't heal anymore which seems like a complete dealbreaker on it's own.

I have no idea what any of this has to do with people potentially scripting cure pots. As if that is even a factor... "i would have won if only he didnt script his cure pots" said noone ever.

As for being rude, i think my comment was pretty mild, but sorry if i offended you.

I think the general consensus is less RNG is better in pvp. Having a % chance to not be able to heal a drop sounds bad to me.

I agree sorry I thought I had remembered that you could cure. I stand corrected. We can forget this suggestion then

Best way to revamp poison mage is poisoning target (even with l'esser) casting any other spell at N%

For example a mage with 100 poisoning have 20% chance to poison target any spell casted.

Well the spell Cure will cure lethal, the balance would be with gcures that can be spammed. You already have a 80% chance to cure deadly poison with gcure, so its already a proven balancer.

I still don't think it would greatly improve pvp much at all other than increase the amount of nox mages out there.

This will total change field template because random poison will disrupt xheals.

About solo PVP lot of newbies that dont know how to throw pots will use poisoning as passive skill to random poison enemies (90% of pvmer dont Carey cure pots)

If you actually pvped you would understand why it's a bad idea.

This is the current poisoning interaction in PvP scenario.

The only buff i would suggest to this if we would have to make one is to increase the tiles of target being guaranteed poisoned.
This template is privily used in group PvP though. I don't see any reason to push it forward into PvP scenario (Mage combat).
