    I could be wrong, but I believe that it was changed to be the same cast time as uoforever. Where the problem lies is that the next spell delay is so fast that you don't have to hardly wait any time in between spell casts making it more of a spam fest and making things like fast casting less useful...

Probably the reason that more people are vocal about it now are is because of other changes have taken place and that PVP is less consensual and more so focused around PKing in dungeons.     Have you tried running neither as admin? Have you tried setting it to another hotkey? Is this a mouse hotkey that has been remapped? Does your push to talk hotkey happen to be F10?

    Strange enough, but it used to be a thing. For a certain period (not entirely sure on era, but I think it may have been pre-UOR?), no offensive spells could be cast in town. Led to people making characters referred to as "townies".

    I don't agree with this at all in most every case. I guess if you are talking about a plain dexxer without magery it could be true in a few instances (pits and group fights mostly), but with magery included in the template a dexxer can beat a good, or even great mage in every single circumstance.
