imo any change that makes them a better choice than the heavy xbow is a mistake... bow and heavy xbow have always been the better choices and it is what people expect to see when they log into UO. making them one handed wouldn't change much with pvp but it would no longer be a worthless weapon...

an archer dex monkey isn't really suppose to be extremely effective in PVP it is more of a PVE template. Archer tank mages are pretty good right now and i've seen a decent # of players using the template.... if you add the ability to shoot on the run people are going to flip out when they try to...
