like I said, even at gm on the highest dungeon chests you'll sometimes fail several times before success. so, you'll want gm. once you get to 95, go pick the chests in shame or deceit lvl 5 or chests in khaldun. you'll fail fairly often. but you should eventually pick them. you'll gm doing this.

Get to 95. Then you'll eventually GM off of the harder dungeon chests. Even at GM, you will fail some on these.

Different color armor increases the AR of the armor, no runic hammer needed. Runic hammers only work for weapons. An exception is Dragonscale armor for which color doesn't matter.

No. Not linked to anything. Make sure under Map/UO client data files location... you have it set to the UOF Ultima Online folder. Some people have multiple installations of UO from previous shards etc.

Try switching world map to Trammel under Map/World/Trammel. I know it's not technically trammel, but there are normal trees like trammel. I think there's some setting in the UOF files that tricks UOAM. Just switching to use the Trammel world map makes maps viewable for me.

try changing your world map from Fel to Trammel. That worked for me. It's under Map/World/Trammel.

try running the launcher in admin mode if you haven't. maybe it's not able to write to the folder where UO is installed.
