"Add a Poll" to an existing threat option plz

If it is possible, can we set the forums to be able to add a poll to an existing discussion if the OP clicks "edit post" please? Would be very helpful to threads that get lots of positive feedback to build to an ultimate resort based on votes after details have been fleshed out.

SHIT see - I typo'd "Thread" and spelled "threat" but can't edit it... We need more edit priviledges here!! lol
