Is there any reason to have GM Carto? I keep seeing that I don't need it past the 60's or don't need it past 85. I am training this and I am currently 76. Am I wasting my points GMing this skill?

I'm pretty sure you only need 70 cartography to decode an ingeniously drawn treasure map. So you can stop training it at about 75-80 skill I'd say. It will take you some more tries to decode a map though, compared to GM.

Can we get clarification from shane or anyone on if this will ever be changes. I have gm cart and really dont want to drop it.

I guess until changes are made on this I will keep it GM until I need the skill points for fishing/provo PS's

My cart has 75, which is what I heard is required for level 6. It's nice because then you can have extra points for power scrolls.

gah trained it to 87 and still failed reading. didnt think I could read lvl 6 till I saw this post.
I tried spamming the map and finally it worked

Imo it should be trained by doing lower lvl maps

no you can decode any level map at 70 cart.
