    Crossing Over
    Chapter 1
Long ago Blaine threw a final wrestling event before leaving the realm via a Red Moon Gate. After leaving he came back to reality and faced life... what it had in store for him. A few gypsies followed him into the gate as well for the same pathway. Blaine faced a must more troubled path of pain which kept him occupied. Pain killers were a drug of choice like opioids... however he still had his moonstone and missed the realm which he left.

After a period of time he found himself holding the moonstone close and wishing to use it in a fugue state. This became more and more common then becoming a problem of knowing if he was back their or not. The real answer was not for a period of a year however in his mind he opened his own gate and stepped through. Bringing himself and the other gypsies with him hoping to have a good happy life. This was the beginning of the Crossing Over.

The gateway was opened... the way was set... the future was already set fate...

    Chapter 2
"The gateway was opened... the way was set... the future was already set fate..." this was all so true. Back when Blaine was in his fugue state he made one grave error. Two moongates appeared however the one to the right more of a haze. He did not enter the physical realm of "Forever" he entered the mental haze which turned out to be... well different.
This will be the story of the year gone by in the mental realm of "Forever". This will explain why things were, why things are, and why things are to come... In the end you must decide "Is it really Blaine's fault? Or the fault of a fantasy realm Crossing Over?"
    [IMG][IMG]
And so they cross over the moongate into the realm that they think will be "Forever" exactly in the spot they left in outside Spiritwood Spirits Tavern. And so their eyes are now shocked to see nothing more than swampland and a few planks of wood scattered about. The moongate SUDDENLY crackles loudly and shuts as Blaine stands there holding a moonstone. However, something catches his eye... the moonstone has strange markings on it now like cracks, but not cracking at all. He also notices he has another moonstone in his other pocket which seems to have NO power here at all. There's a group of about 7 gypsies huddled together all looking around afraid and Blaine is supposed to lead... are they lost? Meanwhile everyone is so afraid a dagger flies out of the brush and strikes Blaine! A lizardman and no one has any weapons! Blaine screams "RUN TO THE SPIRITWOOD!"

Into the woods they go staying close together. They start noticing a lot of debris and trash everywhere. The trees have no leaves and the smells are just horrible. Finally at a safe distance Blaine collapses next to a tree in which another near death happens. A sword falls from the branches and then just rests upon Blaine. The gypsies tend to his wound with the sleeves of their shirt. So far this place is not paradise. It is no "Forever".

    Chapter 3
Propped up against a tree next to what seemed to be the road Blaine starts to really look around as his wound is being treated. He notices everything is covered in a layer of grey and black ash. He looks to the ground he's even sitting and his own outline is being made and their trail from where they ran from is perfectly visible. With the trees having no leaves it makes it nearly impossible to hide.

Blaine says and gives one of the gypsies the sword "Here use this I have no idea how to use it well enough." So now they have two weapons a sword and a dagger that was pulled out of Blaine's own body. And now they have a road... and down that road a figure slowly starts to make it's way to them. They all stand at the ready... A gypsy says "HEY! YOU! STOP!" The figure doesn't stop, but still lurches towards them. The group can't make out if it's male or female.
They watch as it just shuffles by seeming uncaring of anything or uncaring of them even being there. They are all thinking "What the...?"
Blaine says "It's headed to Trinsic maybe we should follow it and see what's going on? Maybe Trinsic will also have shelter for us as well."
The group slowly relaxes from the tense moment and agrees.

Is this how it's going to be here? Is it always going to be a mystery of what's to come? Where is the stability?

    Chapter 4
    [IMG]

Thunder crackles in the distance. The sky is nothing but a black void of a cloud above. The group dusts themselves off of the ash. Blaine stands up and dusts himself off as well as they prepare to follow this person or creature or whatever it is down the road to Trinsic. Before the group even starts to leave the air becomes more foul. Blaine looks up to the sky and it begins to snow ash lightly. The gypsy with the sword swings it around to the ready. The gypsy with the dagger twirls it signing she is ready.

“Ok let's go people hopefully Trinsic is more of a welcoming place than this... hostile area.” Blaine says.

The group heads down the road slowly seeing nothing but trash and junk on the road, upon the sides of the roads, in the trees, in the what would be brush. The creature is slowly moving ahead. “At this rate we'll never get there” on of the gypsies says. “Calm yourself” Blaine replies. As they get closer down the road to Trinsic they notice the stench becoming worse, like burning flesh. Blaine notices a black stack cloud coming from the direction of Trinsic. He thinks to himself “This doesn't seem right”.

They can see the city from the road, but it is not golden like it once was. Along the road side are spears with skulls planted upon them going about 20 feet between them. Who were these people? What did they do to deserve to be put on display like this? Is this now an Orc camp? The group stops and watches the creature shuffle down the road to the gates where 5 figures stand with giant spears. The creature seems to stop to give one of them something and then continues through the gate. Everything is covered in this black ash. The walls are nothing but big blocks of collective ash.

“So do we want to go there Blaine? It doesn't seem like it's Trinsic...” one of the gypsies asks Blaine.

“We should go and talk to those people and see what's going on at least?” Blaine says.

“I'm scared.” Says one of the younger gypsies.

“We'll be ok don't worry we can defend ourselves or run away.” Blaine explains.

The group slowly walks up to the gates to the 5 figures which are armored men in red plate mail.

“HAULT!” The men say in unison. “WHERE IS YOUR PASS FOR YOUR ENSLAVEMENT?”

“We don't have one... enslavement??? Is this not Trinsic? Where is Skye Wolfbane the Queen?” Blaine speaks loudly and unafraid.

The men all point to the wall to the right where a crucified set of bones hang off the wall.

“SHE WAS THE FIRST TO FALL DURING THE UPRISING! WE MADE AN EXAMPLE OF HER!” The men say in unison once again. “THIS IS DROOGMOR ENSLAVEMENT CAMP FOR EMPEROR ZODD.”

The gypsies take out there weapons.

“WEAPONS ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF ZODD! TOSS THEM ASIDE!”

The 5 begin to surround the gypsies with their spears pointed at them.

“We will never toss them aside for you!” Says the gypsy with the sword and as soon as he says that 2 of the knights stab through him with spears. He dies instantly.

Blaine begins to put his arms out to the rest of the group...

    “RUN!!!” Blaine screams.

Blaine manages to slip through the knights however the rest of the group did not and were stuck in fear. Blaine runs with all his power down the road seeming to not care about the rest of the group which is unlike him to do. Once he's down the road a ways he hides behind a big tree and watches the group become new slaves for the camp. They are stripped down and whipped. Meanwhile a ragged caged wagon full of people rolls by Blaine. Now he sees how horrible it is here. Now he understands he can't stay here...

Blaine makes his way to the Shrine of Spirituality which seems to have no ash on it at all being warded somehow from it. He takes out the cracked looking moonstone and uses it.

Now the gateway is closed to the real. Now he can only go back to the hell of the mental. Which he will because he's got to save his friends from being slaves in that pit once called Trinsic. Forever is gone for him. He must complete his task in the mental first.
