    Meta Dexxer Talisman Revealed

    There are THREE (3) total talisman.
    • Each one has specific special abilities available to each specific one and all bonuses apply to creatures only (Player VS Monster).
    • None of these can be equipped by bards or tamers.
    • You may only equip one at a time.



    Idol of the Magi
    Spells cast by the player are increased in potency with advancement
    Experience gains decrease with armor rating and distance from attacker


    Dispersion - Spell damage can be dispersed to nearby enemies

    Focus - A chance for increased damage

    Shadow Disciple - Mana shield at a scaled rate

    Vivify - Chance to enhance summons, both skills and stats (not ev or blades)



    Phylactery of Resilience
    Damage from spells and melee are reduced with advancement
    Experience gains are scaled upward by armor rating and distance


    Leech - This ability allows the player to sap small amounts of health from nearby creature when damaged

    Quench - Chance to resist firebreath

    Recoil - The damage done to a player has the chance to reflect back on the attacker instead of causing damage

    Remedy - Chance to resist poison




    Totem of the Berserker
    Damage output is increased with advancement
    Experience gains decrease with armor rating and distance from attacker


    Double Strike - When invoked the berserker will double swing on the creature

    Infected Wounds - When using a poisoned weapon, if an attack successfully poisons a creature the poison will be incurable (this does not apply to pets)

    Phase Shift - Upon attacking a creature the berserker has the chance to to a teleporting attack to all creatures nearby. The hiding and stealth skills are taken into account when performing this attack. It also uses stamina for each leap.

    Tread - The berserker can trample an enemy either on foot or while mounted. Full stamina is required and the weight of the character is taken into account.

    The protection is scaled upward by armor rating and distance.

    so i know its high AR better gaining etc. but when you say distance is that how close you are. or how far away you are

    Archers we spent alot of time to get right honestly.
    It's really lame to complain about it being useless to archers when archers are currently OP as it is in PvM compared to ANY server i've personally played or even seen.

    There's no doubting that, there's a reason every single person runs an archer.
    Double strike (double arrow) still works up to 2 arrows. That's 2 shots in a row without a delay for mobs....
    Use Phase shift to shift between 5 enemies hitting everytime, that's 5 arrows shooting into them with no delay.
    Then use Tread to trample them with combos. It's insane what you can do.

    Don't judge it until you try it- Our developers spent an insane amount of time on this.

    Your obsession with CTFL is on another level man. Theres literally maybe (5) people here who REALLY want it "now". That's about 1 percent of our playerbase.

    It WILL come, it WILL be implemented, and you WILL be a part of making sure it's done right.

    But for now, we have more important things that apply to the other 99% of the player base needs first.
    If we concentrated on stuff like that first, we wouldn't be here. You need to understand, recognize, and respect that.

    Looks good so far, make sure at higher levels it's tuned right. If not it will end up like 90% of the level 7 meta pets. Stabled.. unusable

    Thats one of the things which keeps me playing UO and still enjoying it. However you are right, patients is the key. Pardon my frustration towards that topic.

    So the higher the armor rating it scales up...and by distance im guessing since this is a defensive totem the closer you are the better?

    Basically wear no armor and stay as far away from mob is best?

    Yep. Pretty sure you want to be a naked face tanking non-archer with beserker and a an archer in full plate for the defensive talisman.

    I can see the phase shift screwing over a lot of people if you get teleported on to a big mob.

    Cool stuff though.
