Yeah as title says, whats with the quest?

I killed the dragon in ne New player dungeon with the glass sword, but it didnt end there?

yeah, i just did it too. if the wisp said anything I missed it cuz now all I have is an arrow, pointing way north

The quest should end with the glass sword blow.

So when you get the dragon bone shards that is the end of the quest. Decoration item as far as I can tell.
