Client stuck on verifying account when using steam

When I connected with Steam (my main assistant) the client gets stuck on the verifying account phase. Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling Steam and losing my macros?

Took your advice and did that. Reinstalled UOS and the UOF launcher. Still having the same problem.

Also try reboot u comp. lol tip but sometime work for me

@Shane This may be a new problem for a few players. Another player posted the same question in the client issues forum (I should have posted this thread there) on Thursday. I started having this problem on Friday.

Had the same issues last week. I had to use the new UOF launcher inorder for it to work

Yeah I tried that.

I just unchecked encryption required - and it worked. I remember it being checked before, but I could be wrong.
