Client Update?

Is the only option to update still a complete re-install? Isn't there a server address file that we could change and update through the EA server then change it back to the UOF? If no other options exist, what are your tips for preserving your window layout / macros / etc. for each character? I hate to have to reset macros and pull spells out of the books on a few of my characters.

When I reinstalled the client like the page advised on installing the new launcher, I discovered on my log in screen that i was running client 7.0.15 which does not display some areas properly.. i uninstalled the client only, and when I ran the UOF Launcher, a button was there above where "Play" and "Update" buttons appear which reads "Download UO" .. that button downloaded the correct 7.0.37 client for me. After completely reinstalling the launcher and the client this way, I had no problems with macros or Spellbook buttons on any chars... hope this helps?!
