Looking for some findlayer help (Bankbox)

I'm trying to find a one liner that will verify that the bankbox is open or in range. I've been trying this:

if not @findlayer 'self' 29
headmsg 'Bank not in range'
else
msg 'bank'
endif

The msg 'bank' runs evern in my house. Not good... Obviously I'm reading the manual wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I believe steam has a built in alias for the users bank box. Go to your steam directory and you should see a documentation pdf. Search for bank and you should find it.
