Hi, is there any way to make the tree hack mode to show stones, so I could use my miner without having to turn it off ?

I had to do this for the exact same reason as you. You will need to create your own hack mode. There are 2 programs you will need to download and some light reading will be required to properly use them. I am at work right now and I cannot remember the name of the programs, but I will try to remember to come back after I get home. - Never mind, googled them... UO Fiddler and Mulpatcher
The programs are extremely "powerful". Meaning you can essentially change all the sprites in the game to something else. I've modded out basically everything you can walk over on the ground except the mining nodes. No shrubs, No flowers, basically tree stumps, mining nodes, and some sprites to show I cannot walk over that square.
