Snow Ball Player Run event.
Each person gets to make their own team of 5 people, Then that team captain provides color robes for his team red, green, blues etc..
Each team gets a pile of snow in their back pack and then teleported to their side of the course. The object is to knock out the other team mates by hitting them with snowballs, once you get hit you are out. The team with the most players left standing moves on in the bracket.
This is best done with an 18x18 but a 30x30 would be even better. I don't have either but this is a good idea for someone who likes doing player run events for a Christmas event, I seen it done on another server and it was a blast. Maybe even ask staff if they can provide temporary snow balls for the event.
