Some questions from an old/new player

Its been quite a lot of years since I've played this game. The last time was the release of the ninja/samurai stuff.

I was wondering if someone would mind explaining to me the real cap thing? Because some of my skills are alot lower when I toggle real cap, I want to know how that affects things and how to increase it (also if its a good thing to do that) or just ignore the real cap part.

Working on a bard/Mage/Tamer (if that is important.)

Real is without the 'bonus' your stats add. Like intelligence boosts magery etc. I'm not sure if it actually affects how you handle skill gain, I'm gonna go w no but I judge on rate of gains and success/failure ratios.

Its fairly easy to GM most skills. Good luck w/ taming. My 1st char was a bard/mage/tamer until I hit 60 taming and gave up. You're new, if you wanna have fun and *enjoy* playing dont do that to yourself right from the start, its like a 2nd job. (i have a gm tamer now)
