I am getting hit for 48 by a shadow runic war hammer.

Fix this - its been fucked for ages

This is correct.. They have actually changed it multiple times.

You should be getting hit for 48 damage by a shadow runic war hammer if they hit a crushing blow. BUT I still feel that the screwed up AR calculations here are a cause for consistent high damage when good armor is worn. There is another thread about this right now:
