Click or highlight "Inbox" at the top right hand corner of the screen, then click "Start a conversation". That will take you to the page http://www.uoforum.com/conversations/add (You could also click that link!)
Type the persons name in Participants (if you enter a few letters, an autosuggestion box will appear) and then type your subject and message:
