I dont know if using fertile dirt speeds up the growing process Because I thought you could just get a dirt piece in your house and use that. Does it have a difference in which dirt you use?earth eles are easy to farm but it would be a lot faster to just use a piece in your house. Thanks

No, you need potions. I recommend stocking up on quite a few poison (greater) kegs along with gcure, and gstr. Place a water trough at your house if that's where you are going to grow them. If you are going to grow them in your bank, then you can water them from the water trough there.

heres a tip;

make sure you give the plants a greater strength potion every day, starting as soon as you plant them, for at least the first 5 days. This will boost their max hitpoints, which they mostly will benefit from as seedlings, as their max hp is very low in those first few stages.

What? And then days 5-7 perform begging on the plants at least once a day? :p

Alas, it was a fine mid summers nights eve, or whatever, when suddenly a shot rang out through the valley. ''OOPS'' shouted an unknown humanoid in the bushes, and then in the distance, a bird could be seen falling slowly through the air, plummeting towards the earth in some twisted spiral motion.
''Hark! shouted another humanoid, '' that there be the infamous OSI style carrier pidgeon, probably carrying important information about recent patch notes!''

Honestly though , I have never heard of gstr giving hit points. As far as I know gstr potions, if given for each growth cycle, only reduce infestation from occurring.

Lmao -- mean ole Wreck.

As far as kegs go, I would check the vendor houses by west Brit bank, around yew moongate, and the ones around moonglow like mine. One of my vendor renters sells kegs on his vendor.

you know i thought i remembered reading it somewhere, but the guides at tessas cove, stratics, and the codex itself all confer with what you're saying. Though i do still believe that the manner in which the gstrs aid in repelling the harmful maladies is by giving the plants themselves higher max hits. This seems to show in plants that had gstr each of the first 9 days, but then I suppose more testing is needed. I think okome actually is the one who may have explained gstr effects in this manner to me, who is a good reference for anything really.

just click the ? symbol on the bottom left corner of the plant bowl menu. You wont see the menu until the plant bowl is filled with dirt. The ? symbol leads you to the codex of wisdom. From there if you click index and then click plant growing, youll find all the basic info.

remember, stratics has good information on the gardening, but be careful when using stratics since most of the other information is not true for UOF
