Possible for Character Account Transfer?

I was kidding... There is a item called a "soulstone" that would do it I think but they aren't on this server.

"Soul Stone's" allow you to transfer 1 skill between 2 chars. not chars between accounts. Doubt it will happen for you here...though @Shane and @Adam and the other staffers are very kind and generous, so anything could happen

Nay.
This is a regular asked for thing actually.

We don't do this for various reasons. Most people want to move a character for the sole reason of creating another in it's place for various reasons which in the long run to be honest 9/10 times slightly hurts the longevity and community of UOF.

We only allow 2 accounts and limited characters for a reason. This is exactly why. The original poster here made choices of each character they made which leads each of those characters down a path. In the end, if you want to create additional characters once you are maxed out ( or in this case, need the character on another account for some reason), you need to delete one.

IF you're going to have all pvpers, pkers etc, then so be it. You will have to buy all your kegs, bulk reagents, armour and weapons from other players. IF you're going to have all crafters, fishers, and tamers. So be it, you will have to rely on others to pvp on your side when you need it. These are examples but what this does is FORCE community social interaction.

Allowing the ability to freely transfer characters, create as many as you want etc REALLY hurts the economy, and social aspect in the long run believe it or not. If every person is self sufficient it isolates them from the community. They have ZERO reason to go seek out an alchemist, blacksmith, tailor or otherwise because they made their own.

I know this, because this is what i did on every server i played. I've learned 3 accounts is too much- What makes UO what it is, is that every decision you make takes you down a path that (SHOULD) force you to stick with. That is a main key to the nostalgia factor of UO as well.

It's a lot of psychological stuff i guess, but it's very true, and because we really understand this is one of the key reasons UOF is where it is today..
If everyone had their own crafters, theifs, tamers, pvpers, pkers, provo's, etc... NO one needs to ever contact anyone for basic things. Removing a huge chunk of socialization out of the game. That is why guiding people to the Britain bank is huge, and why doing sales at BB is huge. Socializing in game, instead of all 3rd party means (Forums, messengers etc).

WE won't ever have Soulstones.
You cannot transfer characters or your character skills.
IF you go red, we will not remove your counts.

Each choice you make is a path you've set upon and need to play with.
This is what made UO unreal.

tbh the 7 chars/account nullify all your arguments in my opinion. I have 7 PVP chars right now and honestly - I don't need any more. Infact, 4 or even 3 would be enough. There's PLENTY of space for tamers and crafters as is.

Yes but you have to buy those extra slots @ 1mill. Which means your in some way contributing to the community hands down to obtain that 1 million to do this. (Most likely more than that, since the only people doing this are the ones to have 1 million to blow).

All in all it forces people to interact, buy, sell, trade and more..

fair enough. I hope that you guys figure out a way to stop multi-client house holding since THAT is the only real problem I see with more than 2 accounts. In my opinion people should only be allowed to hold 1 house with their 2 accounts ANYWAYS. (that being said, I also hold 2 houses right now but simply because one of it is a Guildhouse)

I'm new here and the only reason I was asking is because I didn't know you couldn't login to 2 characters on the same account. I have 2 characters 1 being a pvp mage and I was making a money character. Both are on the same account and I trained my Hiding all the way to GM already on my money character, but now I have to create a new account and do it all over again because I can't give the gold that I make with my money character to my pvper...I understand your reasoning, I am just frustrated now that I have to train hiding all over again.

just make a new toon on your 2nd acct give him the gold then give it back to the other char on first acct? or have someone xfer it for you.

Some ppl might think this is risky, but I've done it tons of times without incident:

Just bring both chars to an empty tavern or inn. Stand in a corner where you can set something down behind a wall. Then put what you want to transfer into a backpack or bag, set it on the ground out of sight behind the wall, log out and then back in on the other char (make sure you already had them standing in same spot). Inns and taverns, like houses, are insty-log areas (your char disappears immediately). Log right back in on other char, pick up the bag. Gold or whatever = transferred. No big deal.

Thats what I used to do when I first started. Still do this every once in a while actually lol

To be honest, everyone is self sufficient in most things. If you really want people to socialise and UO working as intended.. do it the hard way and go Siege Perilous. One account, one character. There are soulstones, yea I know.. still..
