Nope, you got to beat them down. A lot of nasty spiders in there and there are 2 possible spawn locations for it. Upper and lower level.

If you are new, and don't have much money, I'd suggest just waiting. I have a smith with 115 blacksmith, 115 tinker, 115 mining and all other craft skills at GM, have made tons of my own weapons and filled BODs like a champ, and have never owned a beetle. Overrated IMO, especially with all the griefers on this shard who will just kill it soon as you sit still for two seconds at Brit Crafting.

If you do buy one, just make sure you bond it. I seriously don't understand how so many people buy a beetle, then lose it to a griefer and whine on about how they "forgot" to bond it. Psshhh, what is this Chucky Cheese?
