best one handed weapon for PVM?

Stick with katana. Not a lot of kryss skaters out there, but there are shit tons of Kats..

though most favorite is viking sword, slow yah, but that thump sound effect is awesome.

Warhammer - Macing
Short/Longspear - Fencing
Halberd - Swords
Axe - LJ

...depends on what you use really. But those are the only main 2h weapons and I would say that Warhammers are the strongest of the bunch imho
