I never even read threads that are 5+ pages deep. Too much time wasted throwing back and forth the same ideas (and insults) that are just worded differently.

I'm initiating the campaign(which has started the minute it was removed but let's make it official) to restore the Flames and Rants section.
Simply put something in your sig referring to bringing back the flames and rants section. Let's do this.
F and R section concentrated all this bs in one area...now it's a forum wide cancer we've all been prone to.

As much as I endorse the F&R or R&F sections, they never did concentrate the Flames or Rants in them. They have always spilled over into other forums with the F&R/R&F fanning the main conflict.

I agree, something needs done about the negativity. The trolling, personal attacks, and just the overall griefing. This is mostly on the forums but ingame as well. And dont give me the usual "Trammy" comment or its part the game. NO ITS NOT!
It's just so detrimental to our server and I believe that the solution (whatever it may be) should be first and foremost on the GMs or MODs "To-Do" list. I love our staff here. I've stated that several times. But the trolls are overwhelming! Im glad that alot of our Teams resources and efforts are spent on new content, improved content, and to the betterment of our server. But im afraid that if these issues arent addressed and fixed we wont have a server to come to.
So I implore our GMs to please make this a priority and just do the best you can to fix this. Thats all one can ask. And thats usually what you guys give.
This cancer is belittling something I love so much! And im not alone on this. Its a game yes, but its OUR game! And we all love it!

Hopefully someday it will go back to normal, thus my refreshing, until then ive found something better to do with my guild mates.

Give this player a huge house in a city to run his auction out of...for free....
Player upset he can't use the house for storage and setting up his own vendors.
Takes it upon himself to move his vendor to his own house.
Pk's attack his auction.
Get's upset, tells everyone at auction to page in about the pk griefing.
Get's more upset when staff does not get involved by putting a guard zone around his house or make it so pk's cannot attack.
Quits.

Budcookie was the most favored person ever on this server in my opinion and we just got shit on because of it.

Also if i say anything in irc now my PM's light up across the bar, and people start asking questions expecting me to respond to each one in general chat.

So lately both me and Adam have shifted into the background a bit more and let the mods respond more.

Also everytime we add a staff member, we possibly lose a player. So that's something to swish over as well. I don't think we need more staff members per say with the exception of FORUM MODS, i just think we need a better system to handle the influx of suggestions, idea's, bugs etc.

I agree 100% with this decision Shane. You and Adam shouldn't be weighed down with mediocre tasks. Yes player relations is very important but an assigned team should handle that. Now having said that, its one of the things that I've always loved about this server, is how involved Adam and yourself are. But the servers to big for that now. I can just imagine how inundated you get with PMs.
I believe you do an awesome job but let others handle the forums. And as important as the Suggestions & Ideas forum is, have MODs sift thru it and then relay the good ones to the Dev Team.

But hey just my 2 cents. I'm not telling you anything you dont know.

He didn't quit he's taking a break. Staff was pretty fucking accommodating to @Budcookie it seemed to me. Serps hold auction house, server messages for auctions, etc.

But in the end, yes this is UO, yes people will try to grief, and YES THERE ARE PLAYER SOLUTIONS TO IT.
