I understand this would take some coding, I had a quick look to see if any phpBB modules exist, they do but are outdated.
Some kind of auction mod for the selling part of the forum, would be good if you can see what the buyers are like, had a couple of auctions where the high bidders don't bother after winning and have to re-list. Having proper end times would also get rid of people complaining about bids after the auction ends.
Just a thought.
