I have a GM miner and he does stonework and glassblowing. When mining rocks, I have a pretty decent chance of getting granite while mining. The rate seems to be the same as the chance of getting whatever metal you're mining at the time. Sand on the other hand doesn't seem to have any sort of consistency when mining it. Does raising mining beyond GM increase your chance of success when getting sand?
