I was wondering if any other lumberjacks have tried using the Harvest Perk while out logging. I've used a few and have found it to be rather lacking. The extra 8 logs per swing are nice, but with the complete randomness of lumber jacking, I am not seeing a return of my investment. I run 2 loggers simultaneously and each time I've used a Harvest Perk on one, the other one is pulling the most top 3-tiers of wood during the session.
I can see the purpose using one with Mining, those spots are static and you can spend the whole time hitting Valorite spots.
