How can I move a chest of kegs from one house to another?

The chest has about 50 kegs in it. Is there a fast way to move it to another house?

Couple of kegs at a time... more if you have a beetle. If the houses are close enough and you feel safe enough, death crawl it all at once.

Make a macro to double click gate. Open gate to your new house grab and hold chest. Use gate macro drop chest on other side.

set the chest next to where youre going to open gate.. step into the gate while using your all names command and grab it before it teleports you through.

this but depending on how heavy it is you may be able to pick the chest up and then step one tile more onto the gate. or just open a gate step into it and grab the chest real fast.

Make a macro to double click gate. Open gate to your new house grab and hold chest. Use gate macro drop chest on other side.

^ This is the best advise here.

And here's why. You can pick up any weight object, and hold it with your mouse. You cannot walk or put it in your backpack. You also cannot double click a gate if holding an item. So you create your enter gate macro, bind it to a key, cast the gate, pick up the item (holding it with your mouse), hit macro button and bam -- you have brought the chest to your new house.

PS: It helps if your rune is marked beside the house steps so you can drop the chest down and instantly lock it down.

You can also bug items out in your cursor like you "should do" with powerscrolls at champs/rdas by holding ctr+shift rolling mouse wheel and moving the item round all at same time. Then u can move mouse freely and cast gates/heals ect but you should have a macro like Messremb sugests anyway

you might as well be telling him to stand on his head while he does it too..

all you gotta do is pick your item up and move it to the black part of your screen and let go of your left click.. and its stuck in your cursor til you put it down.

lol sounds long but its not exactly a complex task even for the slow people ctr/shift move mouse wheel.....

gate to bank
pick up the chest
use macro to enter gate
drop chest in bank

get in the new house
gate bank
use macro to enter gate
pick up chest
use macro to enter gate
drop chest in the house
secure it
