How to turn off avatars?

I look at the forums at work and don't want inapparopriate images showing up. And since some people want to make avatars that are inappropriate images, is there a way to turn this off? I turned off signatures but have not found a way to turn off avatars.

You can use chrome and download an extension to block images. Firefox or chrome may have an option to do this by default as well....that may be your best bet.

Yeah, get Adblock and you can block any frames you want too.
