Haven't been as active lately. Just finally checking out. I didn't socialize a lot with most folks on here so a lot of you probably don't even know me, I only really knew a few of you, but I've been here since the very beginning of the server.

Essentially my job has been taking up more and more time lately and I logged in this morning to see my large South Yew custom was gone, in it's place a house with the sign MIA. Lost a metric ton of stuff so kudos to whoever was there for that! Not sure if my refreshing was off or what but it was slightly worn when I refreshed about a week ago and it was gone when I logged in this morning. Seemed bizarre unless there were recent changes to house decay.

Don't really have the drive to get back to where I was.

It was fun while it lasted. Hope you all have a great time guys!

It was probably some weird bug in the 18 year old code that made your house randomly fall. I'm sure it wasn't anything like you're lying.

What in the world would I have to gain from lying? I am not asking for anything back. I have always loved this server, I am not trying to slander anything or anyone. I had a reminder set to refresh my house. I have never had problems in the past 6 months of my work schedule. It just seemed weird is all and really caught me off guard.

You really don't need to be like that.

I have been told that houses will get idoc'd if the owner is only signing in just to refresh their house for a long period of time.

There was a slight revert a week ago iirc. Could have been after you refreshed your house.

Take care Adramelech, never got to know you *maybe?* and be warned, the itch is always strong for UO but maybe, you are one of the very lucky ones who can put this game to bed for the final time. Wish I could..

Leaving is stupid. Instead just try taking a UO vacation.

That's kinda what I'm doing, so I can get other stuff done in my life.

At least log on to refresh your houses, otherwise you may regret it later when you find yourself restarting from zilch.

The trick is stash all your high end items in the smallest plot you can find in a crappy location that none will ***** about taking up space..... large house / plots will be removed to make room for others .... if you only log in to refresh your big house that is........your bank also works for this. <{^u^]>

Sure it's discouraging as it is that he lost all his stuff, has been here since the beginning, and now has decided he needs to move on. You being a jackass saying leaving is stupid doesn't help.

One thing people need to watch out for, just logging on doesn't refresh your house nor does using teleporters.You have to click the house sign or use a door. Not saying this is what happened, but thought it would be a good place to remind people of that. I've seen people lose houses that way. Kind of like the old boats where you had to click the plank. You sail all day but it wouldn't refresh unless you did that. Same with a house.

Why does everything have to turn out to be so toxic in these forums? There really is a mountain of hate that needs to be resolved with psychological help. Here are a few tips which actually work to release some of that pent-up aggression

1) Workout, if you do not have weights or other exercise equipment, do push-ups, sit ups and pull ups *if you do not have a bar to pull up, find a tree with a decently strong, low hanging branch*
2) Get laid.
3) Go for a jog
4) Meditate
5) Take anti-depressants
6) Join a self defence course
7) Join a social group, where you can discuss your problems
8) Stop masturbating to porn, porn is fine to get you into the mood but essentially you need to jump to 2) to actually release pressure
9) Change your diet, everyone can pig out once or twice a week. but balance your diet
10) Open windows, let some fresh air into the room and perhaps clean the house
11) Put a punch bag somewhere in the house or outside, you can easily print out a copy of someone's paper-doll and stick it on the punch bag, also is really good to relieve pressure *Be warned, the paper doll thing might make things worse, so only use this option if you are of a stable mind
12) Paint a masterpiece, use that anger and channel it into something great
13) Compose a symphony,
14) Write a book, perhaps even a biography explaining to the world how bad your youth was/is.
15) Invent something, perhaps something which helps release stress
16) If you have quit smoking and find it difficult, try an E-Cigarette or perhaps use all of the above to take your mind off it.
17) Quit Ultima Online and never return, slowly this game is pulling your in game personality into your real life and you really need to consider doing something different with your time.
18) All of the above
