Invasion Event "Fragment" Crystals

Hello Everyone,

I picked up two blue crystal shaped objects off mobs on last nights Ocollo Invasion. When you click on them they are called "fragment", when you double click them they say click on a target you would like to combine with. Just wondering what these are used for and how much each one is worth?
