Seems like a forum search regarding poisoning has several contradicting posts, I imagine because there has been changes to poisoning. My question is what is the state of poisoning right now? What benefits do you get from having poisoning on a dexxer? Is it a higher chance to poison? I understand you can't lethal in pvp here? Thanks in advance.

i cant remember the exact number (maybe halygon can chime in here) but there is a higher chance of getting a poison hit if u have gm poisoning.

This is correct, pretty sure it scales based on how high your poison skill is.

also believe it reduces the chances of losing a charge on your poisoning by 50%

I believe it doubles ur chance for poison on hit (20% to 40%) with GM poisoning, unless its changed. Thats the info I got from an old thread.
Definitely seems more worth it to do poisoning on a dexer instead of a mage, something I wouldn't mind seeing change. Just being able to poison ur weapons on the fly is enough to make it viable for dexers

Oh boy. Actually all you guys need is in the Patch notes, but here is the cliff notes version:
With GM poisoning, your chance to inflict poison with a weapon is 45%.
With GM Poisoning, you cast greater poison instead of regular poison.
With GM Poisoning, you have a chance to cast Deadly Poison if within 3 tiles of your target.
With GM Poisoning, your opponent's chance to resist poison is greatly reduced (down to 5% I believe).
With GM Poisoning, you can apply DP 100% of the time (duh).
With GM poisoning, your chance to inflict poison with a weapon is 45%.

Poisoning in pvp is not very used. Probably if shane add lethal poison that can be used only with 100 poisoning will be more usefull

This is true for mages but not for dexxors.
If lethal poison was possible, then it would be nearly impossible for a dexxor to cure as you have to cast cure with GM magery to cure lethal.
Did I mention that gcure Pots already heal only 80% when used against Deadly poison?
