A kasa is a Japanese hat largely worn by Samurai and their assistants and made of some form of metal. Buddhist monks+farmers also wear them and are made with a nonmetal such as straw. If you were to flip a rather large salad bowl onto your head then it would be close to what a kasa looks like.
