Stages 1, 3, 5 and 7 are pure mare hue. Stages 2, 4 and 6 are unpure hue.

It's called nightmare/evil mage in Dwayne's guide, and I checked all stages, matches nightmares perfectly.

@bradley- can confirm, I was with him when I checked.
