Turn guardzone off during invasions

Tired of looting a blue corpse for a guardwhack. Furthermore, mobs are invading a city and guards don't care. This will open it up for pks too.

Bad idea. Pks have all year to pk.And if you don't want to die looting a blue corpse i suggest you wait a bit.Events are a chance for everyone to fight off an invasion not a pk wonderland.Maybe you need to be a better pk so you dont need an invasion as cover.

How exactly would it be a pk crutch? Blues at invasions will still out # pks.

The event is the crutch everyone busy.Pk the outskirts like everyone else.
Instead of looting blues in town.

The last time they turned of the guard zone for invasions it was a disaster. Remember the whining and flaming in irc and forum these days? Everbody was unhappy and they turned the guard zone back on.

I think the issue is looting a mob that will flag you criminal. The mobs get teleported around, so even though you think you killed it, you don't have the looting rights. This has caused a bunch of sour moments in the past. I think turning off the looting rights to mobs would solve the problem.

And seriously, no guards? The crying would be outrageous. It doesn't matter at all that the blues outnumber the reds. 6 reds in TS/Mumble/Discord vs 30 blues not in VOIP would be a disaster for the blues.

You get a warning in the bottom left corner of your screen.... it's not a problem if you're paying attention.

This is an issue, but really it should turn you criminal or there are other issues that would ensue. The question is should you get guard whacked for it.

Honestly, I think Glutt's idea was really good of having these events still be in guardzone but have a different invasion area not guarded and have the loot be 2x better or something to that effect. So basically risk/reward. That way, if you want to not worry about PKs at all, you can stay in the guarded invasion zone for regular loot drops but if you want to risk getting better stuff you risk going to the PK area.

Everyone wins that way!
