hi everyone ,

i have a problem about my skills..i used 110 lore and 105 taming ps's..im at 103.6 taming , and 110 lore..caps is at 110 for lore and 105 for taming...lore has gone to 110 without effect any other skill , but after i raise my vet , it stucked at 96.4 (taming at 103.6)

i saw that 7x caps includes +3.6 taming skills too...its not reasonable because of i used a 105 taming so how +3.6 goes from my 7x cap? if i use 110 taming and raise it till 110 taming , am i must drop one of my gm skills?

Explain pls , i really confused about that...

You can have 120 in as many skills you can fit in 720 total skill points. You start with a skillcap of 700, but the first skill you go over 100 with is the only skill that can raise the cap. The second skill you go over 100 with will have to take points off another skill. In theory, you could be 6x120.

Dwyane,

I was under the impression it was the first PS in a given tier (105,110,115,and 120) would raise your skill cap by 5 points. so essentially the first 105 PS you use raises your skill cap 5 points but subsequent 105 PS's will not. and so on for each level of PS's. that's how it worked for my crafter. I first used 105 and 110 tailoring PS then later got a 115 BS PS that also raised my cap, then got 120 tailoring that raised my cap again.

I think its based of the PS's level not tied to skills, but I may be wrong. so in carsomry's situation he has used his 105 and 110 skill cap increases and can only increase further by using 115 and 120 PS in any skill. I think Bromista confirmed this, telling me how he used a 120 peace PS to get his stat cap up then dropped it to get 110 in taming and lore without sacrificing any other skills.
