Reflect Bug?

If you are blue and your target is blue with reflect: You cast a spell onto them, you do not flag until you actually do damage. So if you go to blow someone up and it never actually goes through the reflect you don't flag

is this intentional?

This is the first time on any server i have seen it set up this way.

Sadly, it is. I think they said they were going to look into fixing it, though, but I don't know if that was to placate us or not.

As far as I know, ever since OSI implemented the new reflect system, it has always been that way. On other shards I've played, it has allowed blues to remove the reflect from a person so that a PK team can drop on em. At the same time, it works the other way around, you will not be grey to a red until your spell actually goes through, which means you can still call guards.

I see it as a process that can be worked into a pvp strategy.
